QorIQ Power Architecture™ Embedded Modules


TQ ‘s modules for the QorIQ Power Architecture use the P1 and T1 series.  You have access to all the processor pins so you can use all the IO that the processor provides. All modules have a temperature range of -45°C to +85°C and are available for a minimum of 10 years from date of release, sometimes more. We supply a complete Linux kernel, build system, UBoot and a source code BSPs for every module. Other operating systems such as QNX, Wind River may also be supported depending upon the processor module.

QorIQ Power Architecture™ with Dual e500 v2 cores: NXP P1020 – TQMP1020

Suitable for a variety of applications in the networking, telecom, defense and industrial markets including multiservice gateways, Ethernet switch controllers, wireless LAN access points and high-performance general-purpose processor control applications with tight thermal constraints. Features include:

  • 3x Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 1588 Precision Time Control)
  • 2x PCIe 2.5 Gbit/second
  • USB Host with EHCI and ULPI Interface
  • Numerous Serial interfaces: i2C, SPI, DUART, GPIO and more

QorIQ Power Architecture™ with Dual e500 v2 cores: NXP P2020 – TQMP2020

The module is rated for -40°C to +85°C and can be used in power-sensitive defense, aerospace and industrial applications, and less protected outdoor environments and various combinations of data plane and control plane workloads in networking and telecom applications. Features include:

  • Dual e500 cores running at 1000MHz with QorIQ architecture
  • 3x Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 1588 Precision Time Control)
  • 3x PCIe up to 2.5 Gbit/second
  • USB Host with EHCI and ULPI Interface
  • Numerous Serial interfaces: i2C, SPI, DUART, GPIO and more

QorIQ Power Architecture™ with Quad e5500 64bit cores: NXP T1042 – TQMT1042

This TQ module is ideally suited for use in mixed control and data plane applications such as fixed routers, switches, Internet access devices, firewall and other packet filtering applications, as well as general purpose embedded computing in enterprise equipment, aerospace, defense, and industrial computing such as factory automation and smart grid. Features include:

  • Quad e5500 cores running at 1400MHz with QorIQ architecture
  • 5x Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 1588 Precision Time Control)
  • 4x PCIe up to 5.0Gbit/second

This TQ module is particularly suited to applications that require an Ethernet switch, removing the need to put it on the application baseboard, saving time and money. Ideally suited for applications such as fixed routers, switches, Internet access devices, firewall and other packet filtering applications in enterprise equipment, aerospace, defense, factory automation and smart grid. Features include:

  • 8 port Gigabit Ethernet switch plus
  • 5x Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 1588 Precision Time Control)
